A day at the beach, a long hike, or even just sitting on a patio for a few hours is enough to leave lips feeling tight, rough, and starting to peel.

Wind makes this worse. So does air conditioning, which most of us spend half the summer in.

Hydration alone doesn't cut it

Drinking more water helps your body, but lips lose moisture to the environment faster than water intake can keep up. What they need is a barrier — something that slows that moisture loss down and gives the skin time to recover.
