Our Story

We’re a family of five who swapped coastal humidity for Alberta’s crisp winters—and our son’s skin felt every degree of dryness. Doctors prescribed steroid creams, but we wanted a gentler, everyday answer. Six months of late-night research, kitchen experiments, and countless do-overs led us to a lush, mango-butter blend that finally soothed his skin (and kept the meds in the drawer). Friends asked for jars, word spread, and Mount Essence took root.

Today we still hand-pour every batch, testing first on ourselves—never on animals—to guarantee the rich, velvety glide we fell in love with on day one.
